YOUNG'S Equipment Inc. History

Young's Equipment Inc . is a family owned business which opened for business in Regina on November 1/ 1988. The principals are Tim Young , his father Lloyd Young, and Uncle Bill and Cousin Ron Young. The dealership started with 9 employees and has grown significantly from that time, to over 100 . Case-IH has been the major supplier for the dealership from the beginning and to this day we are firmly Case-IH. Case-IH has provided us with top quality products and support that is unsurpassed in the Ag equipment industry. That commitment allows us to provide the level of customer service that today’s agri-business operators need and expect.

Today, Young's Equipment Inc. is a growing multi-location business with dealerships in Regina, Moose Jaw, Assiniboia, Windthorst and Weyburn, SK, Canada. The focus of Young's Equipment Inc. has always been on customer service. The reputation that we have earned starts with the parts department. On staff we have an all-star team with 10 individuals with experience as parts managers from around the province. We invest heavily in inventory and our total projected parts inventory is approximately $6,500,000. The most experienced people and the most inventory --- what a great combination! No wonder people travel from all over Saskatchewan and beyond to access parts from us when they need them.

The service department is another all-star component for our business. The combined total of service technicians and personnel for all 5 locations adds up to a total of 52. Training is a constant for the people who help keep farmers in the field and we are happy to continue that process.

We have developed a great sense of co-operation between each of our locations, which works to our customer’s advantage. For example, if there is greater demand for service in Windthorst, we can help out with some of our techs from Regina and of course vice versa. Once again our strategy is to invest in the tools that are needed and insure that we can keep downtime to a minimum.

Another strength we have is through our sales department. We are constantly striving to improve our product knowledge and the way that we present ourselves to the people that we serve. We currently have 8 salesmen and 5 managers enrolled in classes offered by the International Ag University.

A significant benefit that comes with dealing with an aggressive company like Young's Equipment Inc. is access to many products for all phases of agriculture. We offer the full line of Case-IH equipment including CASE-IH High Wheel Sprayers. As well, we offer an impressive variety of associate lines such as Flexicoil, Kubota and Apache High Wheel Sprayers. Of course we are also well known for our Livestock Division with silage and cattle feeding equipment such as silage baggers, high dump wagons and feed mixer wagons. With our communication between locations, customers will be able to consider a wider range of used equipment by viewing not just one dealership’s inventory but the total for all four dealerships.
